| What is Elevation? |
 |
Elevation is the name of our student building. It is 25,000 sq ft of the coolest "hang out" space anywhere. It features a cafe, video game room, sport court, lounge and state of the art meeting area. Elevation is open on Sundays and Wednesdays for ministry activities and is open on weekend nights for students to come and hang out.

Youth Choir Preview - Sat. Aug. 30 |
be sure you are here this saturday night, Aug. 30, to meet Josh Lybrand and hear all about the awesome changes coming to youth choir this year. This preview will be from 6-8pm at elevation and you can grab some free pizza and hear all about it! Also anyone who plays an instrument be sure and come to find out about our new Youth Orchestra - All youth are invited to come!
Youth Choir will start on Sunday, Sept. 7th @ 4:30pm in the Choir room.

D-teams and Spiritual Growth Accountability Groups will start THIS Wed. on Aug 27.
Jr. High D-Teams are from 5:30 - 6pm each Wed. This Sememster's D-Teams for 7-8th Graders are:
Fuel - for Girls - led by Beth Jones
Fuel - for Guys - Led by Bubba Headrick
Experiencing God - Guys & Girls - Led by James Walker - Youth Intern
Everyday FAITH - this D-Team is for all students 7-12 and meets at 5pm - Led by Paul Coleman - Youth Pastor
Spiritual Growth Accountability Groups meet from 6-6:30pm and are optional.
Sr. High D-Teams are from 7-8pm each Wed. This Semester's D-Teams for 9-12th graders are:
Knowing God - Led by Buddy Wooley
Exploring Evolution - Led by Dr. Amiel Jarstfer
Apologetics - Led by Fred Jennings
Topical Bible Study - Led by Will Hagle - Minister To Youth
the building closes at 9pm each Wednesday night. |

Africa Mission Trip 08 |
Here is an update from our time in Africa - this is from Peterwise Gowoka. On July 31, 458 souls registered their names in their Father's kingdom. On August 1, 705 were saved. On August 2, 524 souls were brought into their Father's kingdom. Also, on Saturday night, Aug. 2 over 1,000 people attended the Jesus movie and 487 souls accepted Christ. On Sunday, Aug. 3, 129 people attended a church service at a new church plant in the main village of Dzundi. 26 people were baptized. WOW! God is amazing and so is His work in Malawi.
Thanks to all our translators: Sakala, Blessing, Chibwinja, Dalitso, Laiter, Anita, Chifundo, Peter, Lois, Merify, Mc newa, Esnath, Judith, Semu, Stafford, Abigail, Hannah, Sibusiso, Jafet, Dyson, James Janna, Shaister, Lydia and Tamara. Also, we are thankful for our drivers - John and Phynnly - they did a great job. All of You guys are awesome - God Bless You! |
